I have not had experience with this on a year-round basis.
However, last year a few students were issued laptops as
a "test drive." It wasn't a discipline problem (the whole
class didn't have the pc's) but it also wasn't beneficial for
the same reason. I'm no longer at that school but one of my
friends has commented that the pc's (which have been issued
to all the students, and they take them home) are
disruptive. Hope this helps.
