If you were physically assaulted, why didn't you file a police
report. If everything is your word and against theirs and if you
are a first year teacher, you could be non-renewed at the end of
the year.
If you saw these people hitting studens, you had a responsibility
to call CPS. I would never have confronted the teachers about
their behavior. There are other ways to to handle a situation of
this nature.
