Post: Still giving a minimum report card grade of 50?

An emal from my teacher association recently indicated
that despite communication from Austin, some districts are
still giving students a minimum of a 50 rather than the
actual earned grade.
Just wondering how many have made the change and how many
have not.
Our gradebook automatically gives each kid a 50 for report
cards even if they have a 7 or 8.
I've asked admin. and been told I misunderstood the
regulations.
I guess I'm just uneasy knowing (thinking?) that we are not
doing the right thing & wondering if everyone else is, too.
Or maybe I really have misunderstood?
